Lepidolite crystal is a type of mica that contains lithium, and it is found in several parts of the world, including Brazil, Russia, Africa, and the USA.
It is especially known for its pink to purple colors, which are caused by the presence of lithium.
The stone's name comes from the Greek word "lepidos", meaning "scale", referring to its scaly appearance typical of mica minerals.
