About this color type

Opaque dyed beads are opaque beads where the color is added from the outside as a color layer. This allows Miyuki to create colors that cannot be achieved through colored glass alone — such as light pastels and special shades.

Durability: Low to medium. Dyed colors can fade over time when exposed to sunlight, sweat, perfume, cream, and heavy friction. If the bead also has a Duracoat coating, durability is significantly increased.
