🌸 How to dry flowers with Gel

  1. Choose fresh flowers
    Use flowers that are completely fresh and undamaged for the most beautiful result.

  2. Prepare an airtight container
    Use, for example, a plastic container with a lid. Fill the bottom with a layer of silica gel (about 2-3 cm).

  3. Place the flowers carefully
    Lay the flowers with the petals facing upwards. Then gently cover them completely with more silica gel – be careful so the flowers don’t break.

  4. Seal the container tightly
    Close the lid and let the container stand for 5–7 days (depending on the flower’s thickness and size).

  5. Check and remove the flower
    When the flower is dry, remove it carefully and brush off excess gel with a soft brush.

  6. Reuse silica gel
    When the gel’s color indicator shows it is saturated (often it turns dark), it can be reused.
    Spread the beads out on a baking tray and heat in the oven at about 100–120°C for 1–2 hours to reactivate them.

Gold

  1. Clean gold regularly using a simple mixture of warm water and a few drops of mild detergent.
  2. Use a soft toothbrush or a jewelry cleaning brush to gently scrub the jewelry.

  1. Clean brass jewelry with warm soapy water and a soft cloth.
  2. Use a brass cleaner or a homemade mixture of lemon juice and baking soda for deeper cleaning.
  3. Always dry thoroughly after cleaning to prevent water spots.
  4. Keep brass away from high humidity and avoid wearing it in the shower or swimming pool.
  5. Use a sealant to prevent brass from discoloring if you prefer.

Stainless steel

  1. Use warm soapy water and a soft cloth or sponge to clean stainless steel.
  2. Dry with a clean towel to avoid water stains.
  3. Use a jewelry cleaning cloth for extra shine after drying.
  4. Store separately to avoid scratches.
  5. It is generally safe to wear stainless steel in the shower or swimming pool, but chlorine and salt water can be harmful over time.
