About this color type

Luminous is technically a variant of the color-lined finish. This means that the glass itself is transparent, while an intense, neon-like color is placed inside the bead's hole. When light passes through the transparent glass, it is captured by the inner color, giving the bead an almost glowing, illuminated-from-within look – like a small colored gemstone. Luminous beads are produced as limited edition and are therefore only available in select sizes.
