Silver-Lined beads are transparent beads with a silver-plated inside in the hole. The silver reflects light from outside and gives the bead extra shine and sparkle — as if there's a tiny mirror surface inside each bead.

Durability: Medium. The internal silver coating can oxidize over time (in the same way as real silver), which can change the color shade. The silver layer itself is protected inside the hole and does not wear off with normal use. If the silver-lined bead is also dyed (color-lined silver), the color fastness is lower.

Best for: Jewelry where you want extra sparkle and shine, festive designs, all projects where the interplay of light with the bead is part of the design.
