Opaque colors are Miyuki's basic colors, such as black, white, red, green, purple, etc. This is the most reliable color type, as the color of this type is transparent. The outside of the bead is treated in such a way that it becomes less smooth and less shiny, and finally, AB (Aurora Borealis) is also added.
This is an additional coating that creates a multicolored effect.

About this color type

Opaque Matte beads have a matte, non-reflective surface on a solid opaque base color. The glossy surface is etched to appear frosted, giving a soft, muted look — the same color, but a completely different look compared to regular opaque.

Durability: High. The color is permanent in the glass. The matte finish can become polished smooth with heavy wear over the years, but otherwise holds up well.

Best for: Modern, minimalist designs, Scandi-inspired looks, combinations with matte stones and natural materials.
