Miyuki Delica beads size 11/0, approx. 2x1.3 mm.
These beautiful glass beads are silver-lined and dyed – a color type where transparent beads have a silver core and are given more demanding colors such as pink and purple.
Silver-lined colors give the beads extra shine, but since they are dyed, the color can change over time due to friction or skin contact.
Suitable for bead embroidery, weaving, and other fine jewelry projects.

About this color type

Silver-Lined beads are transparent beads with a silver-plated inside in the hole. The silver reflects light from outside and gives the bead extra shine and sparkle — as if there's a tiny mirror surface inside each bead.

Durability: Medium. The internal silver coating can oxidize over time (in the same way as real silver), which can change the color shade. The silver layer itself is protected inside the hole and does not wear off with normal use. If the silver-lined bead is also dyed (color-lined silver), the color fastness is lower.

Best for: Jewelry where you want extra sparkle and shine, festive designs, all projects where the interplay of light with the bead is part of the design.
