Opaque dyed-perler er ugennemsigtige perler hvor farven er tilført udefra som et farvelag. Det giver Miyuki mulighed for at lave farver der ikke kan opnås gennem farvet glas alene — fx lyse pasteller og special nuancer.

Holdbarhed: Lav til medium. Dyed-farver kan falme over tid ved udsættelse for sollys, sved, parfume, creme og kraftig friktion. Hvis perlen samtidig har en Duracoat-belægning, øges holdbarheden betydeligt.

Bedst til: Dekorative smykker, projekter der ikke udsættes for daglig slitage, eller designs hvor du har valgt en Duracoat-beskyttet variant.
