Miyuki Delica beads are cylindrical glass beads of high quality from Japan.
This variant has the color type Duracoat Opaque Colored, where the color is applied over a base color and protected by an additional Duracoat layer.
This coating increases the color durability but also makes the bead hole slightly smaller.

About this color type

Duracoat Opaque Dyed beads are opaque beads where a dyed color has been applied from the outside and then protected with a Duracoat coating. This makes it possible to achieve intense specialty colors — such as pink, coral, and mauve — that otherwise can't be achieved through opaque glass alone.
