Opaque AB beads combine the classic opaque bead's uniform color with a rainbow-like AB coating on the surface. This creates a multicolored shimmer that changes depending on light and viewing angle, on top of a solid base color.

Durability: High. The base color is part of the glass and does not fade. The AB coating is very durable with normal use, but can wear slightly over time under heavy friction.

Best for: Jewelry where you want extra life and shimmer without losing the saturated base color, necklaces, earrings, and bead weaving.
